EyeRxCraft is a digital assistance and electronic medical record (EMR) platform designed exclusively for qualified and licensed Eye Health Care Professionals (Optometrists and Ophthalmologists). This application is NOT a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment directly to patients. The information, suggestions, and outputs generated by EyeRxCraft, including those from its Artificial Intelligence (AI) features, are intended to support—not replace—the professional clinical judgment, skill, and expertise of the licensed practitioner.

2. User’s Professional Responsibility

By using EyeRxCraft, you, the licensed professional, acknowledge that you bear the full and sole responsibility for all clinical decisions and patient outcomes. You must:

• Verify All Data: Independently verify the accuracy and appropriateness of all data entered, whether manually or through automated features.
• Validate All Outputs: Critically review and confirm any prescription, diagnosis, or advice generated by the Application before issuing it to a patient. This includes all suggestions provided by AI algorithms.
• Exercise Professional Judgment: The Application is a tool to augment your skills. It is not a substitute for a comprehensive patient examination, clinical knowledge, or professional diligence.

3. AI-Powered Features

EyeRxCraft utilizes AI to provide features such as diagnosis suggestions and preference learning. You understand and agree that:

• AI suggestions are based on patterns in data and are not infallible. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not applicable to a specific patient’s condition.
• The final medical and clinical responsibility for any decision made based on, or assisted by, AI output rests exclusively with you, the professional user.

4. No Doctor-Patient Relationship

The use of EyeRxCraft does not establish a doctor-patient relationship between EyeRxCraft (the service) and any patient. The Application is a business-to-professional tool. All communication, counsel, and care for a patient remain your exclusive responsibility.

5. Data Accuracy & Integrity

The quality and accuracy of the Application's output are entirely dependent on the quality and accuracy of the data you provide. EyeRxCraft and its creators are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in prescriptions or records resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or improperly entered data.

6. Limitation of Liability

This application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding its reliability, accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall EyeRxCraft or its developers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Clinical errors, misdiagnosis, or patient harm.
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
• Damages resulting from user error, negligence, or misuse of the platform.
• Service interruptions, technical failures, or server downtime.

7. Patient Data Security & Compliance

EyeRxCraft uses secure cloud infrastructure (Firebase) to store patient data, where each doctor's data is isolated under their own account. While we implement industry-standard security measures, you, the user, are considered the "data controller" under privacy laws like GDPR and India's DPDP Act. You are solely and entirely responsible for complying with all applicable privacy laws and regulations in your jurisdiction regarding patient data handling, consent, and confidentiality.

We reserve the right to modify this Disclaimer at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Application after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Disclaimer.

9. Acceptance

By using EyeRxCraft, you signify that you have read, understood, and unconditionally agree to be bound by this Disclaimer. If you do not agree with any part of this disclaimer, you must cease all use of the Application immediately.
