• Not a Substitute for Examination: The Application does not replace a comprehensive clinical evaluation, which includes physical examination and direct patient interaction. It is an adjunct to, not a replacement for, your clinical expertise.

3. Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Our AI features are designed to assist, not to automate clinical judgment. You agree to use them responsibly:

• Critically Evaluate AI Suggestions: Treat AI-generated outputs (e.g., diagnosis suggestions, medication drafts) as a "second opinion" from a junior colleague. They must be critically assessed against your own knowledge and the patient's specific context.
• Avoid Automation Bias: Do not blindly accept AI suggestions without due diligence. Over-reliance on automated outputs can lead to errors. The final decision must always be yours.
• Understand Limitations: Recognize that AI models can have inherent biases or may not be accurate in all clinical scenarios. Your professional experience is essential to identify and correct for these limitations.

4. Data Integrity and Patient Confidentiality

As the custodian of patient data on the platform, you have a profound ethical and legal duty to protect it.

• Accuracy: You must ensure that all patient data entered into the system is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
• Confidentiality: You must uphold the strictest standards of patient confidentiality, consistent with medical ethics and applicable laws like India's DPDP Act, HIPAA, or GDPR.
• Secure Practices: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and the devices you use to access EyeRxCraft to prevent unauthorized access to patient information.

5. Compliance With All Applicable Laws

Your use of EyeRxCraft must comply with all local, national, and international laws and regulations governing the practice of medicine and optometry, including:

• Regulations from your governing medical or optometric council.
• Laws concerning patient data privacy and electronic health records.
• Guidelines on telemedicine and remote consultation, if applicable.

You agree not to use the platform in any manner that is unlawful or prohibited by your professional board.

6. Professional Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You must adhere to the highest standards of professional conduct. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Falsifying your credentials or impersonating another healthcare professional.
• Knowingly entering false or misleading patient information.
• Using the platform for any purpose outside the scope of your professional license.
• Sharing your account credentials with any unauthorized person.

7. Accountability and Liability

You are solely accountable for the clinical care you provide.

• Your Responsibility: You accept full professional and legal responsibility for all diagnoses made, prescriptions issued, and advice given to your patients, regardless of whether the Application was used to assist in the process.
• Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EyeRxCraft from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your clinical decisions or your use of the Application.

8. Reporting and Enforcement
